Auroch Digital, the developers of the Chainsaw Warrior games, are running a competition to get your hands on your very own boxed copy of the original 80s boardgame, and the rules are simple… all you’ve got to do is to get your cliché on!
“In a world where 80’s nostalgia reigns supreme, one man must stand alone against the forces of Darkness… with a chainsaw!”
They’re looking for you to write short reviews of either ‘Chainsaw Warrior’ or ‘Chainsaw Warrior: Lords of the Night’, in the style of an 80s action movie trailer. They only have a single copy to give away, and it’s going to the player who crams the mostest and bestest into their review; “In a world…” “one man…”, “In the year…” and anything you can think of that transports us back to 1987: If your review could be describing a John Carpenter movie you’re on the right track. Extra points for recording yourself reading it in a Don La Fontaine voice!
To enter, all you need to do is email a screenshot of your review on any of the stores it can be found on including; Steam, Apple’s App Store, Google Play and GamersGate.
To help the creative process, Auroch Digital have put the game on sale at 50% off for a limited time only! Email your entry to email@example.com by 30th May to be in with a chance of winning.
Based on the original Chainsaw Warrior board game, this sequel adds new layers of intensity to the game’s unique formula. It’s the year 2035 and the crazed followers of a near-forgotten God have opened a hole into a nightmare dimension. He saved New York in 2032 – can Chainsaw Warrior now save the world? Not only are there swarms of Aztec zombies, mutants, traps, Moon Cult Agents and other twisted fiends between him and Darkness, time is the enemy too! Only 60 minutes remain to save the world!
Not only that, but it’s now available on iOS and Android. Click the appropriate link below to download your copy.
